Mullaitivu

முல்லைத்தீவு Mullaittīvu, Sinhala:
මූලදූව) is the main town of Mullaitivu District, situated on the
north-eastern coast of Northern Province, Sri Lanka. A
largely fishing settlement, the town in the early 20th century grew as an
anchoring harbour of the small sailing vessels transporting goods between Colombo and Jaffna. The town
has a District Secretary's office, many other
government institutions and schools located in and around the area.

Killinochi
Kilinochchi (Tamil:
கிளிநொச்சி,
IAST Kilinocci,
Sinhala:
කිලිනොච්චි) is the main town of Kilinochchi District, Northern Province of Sri Lanka.
Kilinochchi is situated at the A9 road some 100 km (62 mi)
south-east of Jaffna.
It was the administrative center and de facto capital of the LTTE (Tamil Tigers)[1]
until 2 January 2009, when troops of the Sri
Lankan Army recaptured the city. Kilinochchi is still part of Jaffna
electoral division and it was separated from the Jaffna district in the 80s as
a new district. Most of the people living in this district are farmers and related
to agricaltural work.
Vavuniya (Tamil:
வவுனியா,
Sinhala:
වවුනියා) is a big town in the Northern Province, Sri Lanka, governed
by an Urban
Council. It's also the main town of Vavuniya
District. Vavuniya was often referred to as the gateway to Vanni.
